Toddler Survives Heart Surgery: Family Walks to Raise Money ...

Statistics show every year nearly 40-thousand babies are born with a heart defect and more than 40 percent need heart surgery to survive.

Your Alaska Link would like to introduce you to a little girl who's survived because of one of these surgeries and a family who knows what it takes to raise a million dollar baby.

The heart walk is Saturday (9/15) on the Delaney Park Strip. Festivities kick-off at 9 a.m. the 5K walk begins at 10 a.m.
